How does Ocean Financial FCU collect my personal information?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only: sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness, affiliates from using your information to market to you, sharing for non-affiliates to market to you. State law and individual companies may give you the additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Ocean Financial FCU has NO affiliates.

Non-Affiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Ocean Financial FCU does not share with our non-affiliates so they can market to you.

Joint Marketing

A formal agreement between non-affiliate financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include credit card companies, loan recapture programs and insurance companies.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone except as permitted by law. If you decide to terminate your membership or become an inactive member, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice. Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
